How it works

  1. Stake VELA. No lock: unstake whenever you want. Nobody else can move your VELA.
  2. Earn inference every hour. Surplus sets an hourly budget, split between stakers by stake and time. Staking for a moment earns nothing.
  3. Use it on Surplus. Sign in at surplusllm.com with the same wallet, create an API key and call the model. Responses say x-surplus-paid-by: stake while your allowance lasts.

Free usage, not a yield: what you earn is inference on Vela Guard 32B, not tokens or money. Surplus sets the hourly budget and can change or stop it going forward; what you already earned keeps its value. A daily cap and a minimum stake apply. Contract: not deployed yet
